Welcome to the Middle-Game-Forum, the middle-game is probably the most complex period - depending of the starting-configuration and the game-genesis. In present days, we are far away of a well elaborated middle-game-theory, therefore we start in this forum with analyses of individual cases. In the "Elements-Catalogue of the General-Theory" we introduce many terms. There are not any analysis of game-"plans", rather only the introduction of the term "plan" as the climax of the Synthesis-chapter. Everybody is invoked to publish middle-game-analysis on this forum. The analysis should start at about move 8-15 and can finish if there stand out a endgame-situation - you can publish endgames in the Endgame-Theory-Forum. The analysis should argue tactically, positionally and strategically and should explain the realized and can present possible plans. Its also very often helpful to analyse static, static-comparative and dynamic. (Compare: http://148009.aceboard.net/148009-1987-1977-0-About-Analysis.htm#vb ) Maybe we are able to develope a Middle-Game-Theory - a typology of middle-game-problems etc. - if we have studied many individual cases.
