there is no competition i would be aware of. maybe it's time to release the source code for others to change it to a better program !!!!

If you decide to do so, please use some permanent storage like sourceforge.

Advantages:
* Longer before it is taken offline.
* Easier to collaborate on improvements.
* Easier to find when searching the net for source code.
